Artist Statement

In my artistic journey, I find solace and expression through the simplicity and complexity of my main medium; black and white drawings.

Drawing in black and white allows me to explore the interplay of light and dark with a heightened sense of intimacy and precision. Each stroke of charcoal or graphite captures moments of stillness and motion as shadows and highlights shape the narrative.

My process is a blend of intuition and technique. I begin with sketches or preliminary studies, allowing ideas to take shape organically. Whether I'm wielding a charcoal stick, graphite or the occasional paintbrush, each canvas is a dialogue inviting viewers to engage with the layers of meaning and interpretation.
