Artist Statement

In my artistic journey, I find solace and expression through a variety of mediums. While black and white drawings remain at the heart of my practice, I also work across other forms including acrylic, mixed media, oil pastels, and watercolor. Each medium becomes a new lens through which I examine form, contrast, and emotion. The limitations and freedoms of charcoal, graphite, oils, or paints allow me to shift between control and spontaneity, precision and play.
My process is rooted in intuition, guided by the quiet dialogue between material and intention. I begin with preliminary sketches or fragmented concepts, letting them evolve naturally. Whether on paper, or canvas I view each piece as a layered conversation, one that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and discover meaning for themselves.
